Am Donnerstag waren wir eingeteilt um für die Marmottatrophy einen Teil der Strecke zu spuren bzw. mit Fahnenstangen auszustecken. Toni, Welli, Lucky und Lex waren zuständig für den zweiten Anstieg, absolvierten aber die ganze Strecke um gut aufs Rennen vorbereitet zu sein.
Gleich der erste Anstieg zur Zufallhütte und hinein in die erste Tragepassage hat es in sich. Nach gut 300 hm folgt die erste Abfahrt, die noch gefroren war und uns bereits einiges abverlangte.
Der folgende Aufstieg mit Tragepassage vor der Martellerhütte hat es in sich. Ist er doch knapp 1000 hm lang und die Portage unterhalb der Martellerhütte ist nicht ohne. Die darauffolgend Abfahrt, vorbei an der Martellerhütte war recht gut, hat es in der letzten Woche doch 30 cm Neuschnee gegeben. Bis zum Sonntag wird diese Abfahrt aber sicher stark zerfahren sein. Nachdem wir den gesamten zweiten Anstieg doppelt gespurt und mit Fahnenstangen ausgeflaggt hatten, wurden wir von Sektionsleiterin Anglika auf der Zufallhütte zu Entrecot und Hefe eingeladen, was wir natürlich nicht abschlagen konnten.
Mit vollen Mägen schauten wir uns dann noch den letzten Anstieg an, wieder mit einer langen und steilen Tragepassage. Die letzten der 1750 hm sind durch Spitzkehren zu absolvieren und die Abfahrt ins Ziel folgt durch enge Rinnen und holt dann noch den letzten Saft aus den Oberschenkeln.
Alle waren wir uns einig, dass uns am Sonntag ein extrem anspruchsvolles Rennen erwarten wird. Hochalpin, technisch und konditionell anspruchsvoll. Es gilt die Kräfte gut einzuteilen......
Wir freuen uns auf viele Zuschauer, die uns und weitere 300 gemeldeten Sportler anfeuern.
